Since the crisis in Haiti, cruise lines have been under fire and the subject of heated discussion as they continue to bring tourists into the country. Many question whether it is ethical for Americans to be relaxing on a luxurious vacation while just miles away people are suffering and dying. The cruise lines have responded by explaining how their continued tourism is bringing money into the country at a time when it is most needed, and Royal Caribbean cruise line has also been ferrying supplies into the ravaged country.
